The Davenport Coffee Lounge is a nonprofit coffee shop located on American University’s campus in the School of International Service. Staffed entirely by students, the Dav’s high-quality espresso and cozy vibes make for a perfect place to study, catch up with friends and enjoy a good drink. The shop has decades of history on AU’s campus and continues to be a hub for AU student culture. The Dav is committed to sustainability, using completely compostable materials for takeaway coffee and offering discounts and promotions for those who use reusable mugs. The Dav supports student clubs and local charities through our drink of the month program, which partners with student organizations to raise money for a charity of their choice. Come to the Dav to hear good music, relax on our patio with friends on a sunny day or just get a good drink to fuel you for your busy day.
